Lukas, an interpreter for the OSCE mission searching for evidence of Russian aggression, arrives near the Crimean border. When the mission’s vehicle mysteriously breaks down, he disappears into the steppe of southern Ukraine. For outsiders unaccustomed to local rules, every day can be their last.
